Established in 2014, the Department of Commerce (Accountancy & Finance) at SNDT Arts and Commerce College for Women, Pune offers the three-year Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy and Finance (BAF) programme with a vision to prepare future-ready finance professionals. The full-time programme follows a learner-centric, outcome-based curriculum that blends academic rigor with practical exposure.
Focus Areas:
Students develop strong analytical and professional skills through coursework in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Auditing, Taxation, Banking, Business Law, and Capital Markets. The curriculum emphasises practical learning via projects, internships and industry engagement.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to the BAF Programme
1.The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (12th Standard / 10+2) from a recognised Board.
2.Students from any stream, namely Commerce, Science, or Arts, are eligible to apply for admission to the B.Com programme.
3.Candidates who have completed their 12th Standard in streams other than Commerce shall be required to complete the prescribed Bridge Course as notified by the college/university.
4.The candidate must submit all valid supporting documents at the time of admission, including the marksheet, identity proof, and other documents as prescribed by the college.
5.There is no age limit for admission to the BAF programme, and no strict upper age restriction is applicable.
6.Admission shall be granted subject to the verification and approval of all submitted documents by the college authorities.
