    The Department of Economics, established in 1964, has been committed to imparting quality education and fostering the holistic development of women learners. The department aims to equip students with comprehensive knowledge of economic theory, policy, and application, along with analytical reasoning and social awareness, thereby preparing them to become responsible and future-ready citizens contributing effectively to national development.
